Musin’ with Susan 9/8/20 – Tyrants always fall

“Whenever I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have always been tyrants and murderers, and for a time they may seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it: ALWAYS.” Mahatma Gandhi

I need to read this quote every single day.

Right now we have a President of the United States who is encouraging his followers to initiate violence against those who aren’t his followers and then praising them when they do that.

How can we stop this? How can we get the truth out, that this “law and order” man is behind the chaos and violence, that he and his enablers know his chances of reelection are better if cities in the United States are engulfed in violence, so they encourage his followers to be violent for him?

Remember the day he and Obama met in the White House, the day Obama handed over the presidency to him? After the conversation they had, Obama said matter of factly: “Don’t underestimate him.”

That man is a lot of things, and one thing he is is a showman. He understands the power of what goes across television screens. And he is using that knowledge and those images to convince people HIS United States is really Joe Biden’s United States.

He tells so many lies, and it seems as if the closer we get to Election Day, the more and more dangerous his lies become.

We need truth and love right now. We need all the truth and love we can get. We need to speak the truth, not in anger or hatefulness, but in voices of love. How? How does one speak the truth in a voice of love?

I have no idea.

That man is totally out of control.

We all need to remember what Gandi pointed out, that “in the end, they always fall.”

I hope we can hang on through Election Day until Inauguration Day and that we will be able to see this particular tyrant and murderer fall.

It can’t happen soon enough.
