Musin’ with Susan 12/22/20 – Being of One Mind

“If you have one hundred people who live together, and if each one cares for the rest, there is One Mind.” –Shining Arrows, CROW

It’s so simple, really. to live together in harmony. All of us do that on one level or another, at home, at work, in the grocery store, when we’re driving. We just don’t think about it.

Yes, we may disagree and argue and get mad and have all those Human Condition feelings going on, but we each resolve those feelings in our own ways and continue to live together mostly comfortably.

I have to practice letting go of my anger or frustration or know-it-all attitude if I want to live comfortably with myself. The better I am with me, the better I am with all of you.

A friend of mine said, as we were first getting to know each other, “We don’t have to agree on everything, Susan.”

What wise words those are.

We don’t have to agree on everything.
We do need to agree that we want to live in harmony, to each care for the rest, to be of One Mind, even when we disagree about what’s the best way to do something or get somewhere.

Today, let’s all acknowledge we do live together, to agree we don’t have to agree on everything, to care for ourselves and the rest, and to be of One Mind.
